Saint Patrick’s Day in Morristown will definitely look a bit different in 2021, especially since the parade was officially cancelled for the second year in a row due to the pandemic. The good news? There are still plenty of fun ways to safely celebrate the holiday while supporting your favorite local businesses.

So put on your favorite green attire (mask included) and get ready to shake your shamrocks – here’s your guide to Saint Patrick’s Day 2021 in Morristown!

 

Dublin Pub is reopened as of Wednesday, March 10th at 3pm after a brief hiatus and will be open for what was previously “parade day” (Saturday, March 13th) in addition to Saint Patrick’s Day. Tavern Off The Green will be celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day on Saturday, March 13th. Doors will open at 12pm for both indoor and outdoor socially-distant seating with a DJ starting at 3pm. Specials include $20 beer buckets, $5 green teas, and $8 hot ciders.

Iron Bar is hosting “parade day without the parade” on Saturday, March 13th. Doors will open at 10am and the day will kick off with live music by The Benjamins Trio starting at 11:30am. Special guest Crystal Percussion with DJ SuperJ will be playing from 3-6pm. Both the upper and lower levels of the bar will have socially-distant seating with food, drinks, music, and Irish flair. No reservations accepted – first come, first serve.

Revolution will also be celebrating “parade day without the parade” on Saturday, March 13th. Doors will open at 10am for socially-distant seating with food, drinks, music, and Irish flair.

South Street is having a Saint Patrick’s Day celebration on Saturday, March 13th with food, drinks, DJs, and socially-distant seating on both levels. Doors open at 10am and table limits are capped at a maximum of 90 minutes.

The Famished Frog will be celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day on Saturday, March 13th with food and drink specials, including $4 Bud Light and Coors Lite drafts, $5 Deep Eddy drinks, corned beef platters / swiss rubens / egg rolls. Doors open at 12pm for socially-distant seating and outdoor patio dining may be available (weather permitting).

Horseshoe Tavern is also hosting their Saint Patrick’s Day celebration on Saturday, March 13th. Doors open at 10am for socially-distant seating, and DJs will be playing from 12pm-2am. No reservations accepted – first come, first serve.

End of Elm is celebrating what would have been Morristown’s Saint Patrick’s Parade Day on Saturday, March 13th. Reserve a socially-distant table to enjoy EOE’s authentic Irish fare and one of two sets by musical guests. Those who enjoyed the first set (3:00 – 4:30pm) will be required to vacate the table and the restaurant so that incoming patrons can enjoy the second set (4:45 – 6:15pm).

  • Hours (on 3/13): Typically 11:30am – 12pm on Saturdays
  • Specials: Live music and Irish dancers (set one 3:00 – 4:30pm, set two 4:45 – 6:15pm)

 

The Homestead will open at 10am on what would have been Morristown’s Saint Patrick’s Parade Day Saturday, March 13th. Socially-distant seating will be available.

Grasshopper Off The Green is hosting a Saint Patrick’s Day party on Wednesday, March 17th. Socially-distant seating is available on a first come, first serve basis – no reservations. There will be Irish food specials and live music by Blarney Session from 5-9pm.

Fringe Lounge is kicking off their “relaunch weekend” with a Saint Patrick’s Day Party on Wednesday, March 17th. Socially-distant seating is available with “beautiful entertainers.” There’s no cover, but there is a 2 drink minimum, which can include their $5 green tea shots & $5 Jameson drinks specials.

Bin 37 (at ShopRite) is offering “a taste of Ireland” with their Irish cheese tasting experience, available as a DIY snack board filled with the flavors of the country. Order online for pickup March 8 – 20th. The snack board costs $69.99 and it includes a loaf of Irish Soda Bread with a variety of Irish cheeses and crackers.

The Artist Baker is offering a variety of Irish desserts, with gluten-free options, available for pickup Saturday, 3/13 and Tuesday and Wednesday 3/16 and 3/17. Pre-ordering is recommended due to limited quantities.

Pierogies House is putting their Polish spin on a traditional St. Patrick’s Day dish with their Corned Beef Brisket Pierogies. Try them boiled or fried for a limited time only!
